How it all started...
When God looks at His Church, He doesn’t separate us by denominations, ethnicities nor the amount of money in our bank accounts. When God looks at us, He sees His family. Building Bridges is dedicated to preparing the Family Table. We endeavor to bring the church together to respond to the prayer of Jesus Christ in John 17:21:
“that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that the world may believe that You sent Me.
Our vision is to create opportunities for believers to gather regularly to discuss the needs of our different communities, sharing one another’s burdens and together, coming up with solutions. We also desire to celebrate victories with genuine love and ultimate support. We need each other, and the world needs to see Jesus through a united body of believers. We are not the same. Nor do we worship the same. We are different by design, but we were never meant to be divided. The Father is pleased when He sees His children walking in fervent love for one another and sharing this love with those who are hurting.
Building Bridges Ministries offers Community Service Opportunities, Workshops and Retreats for Spiritual growth, and Fellowship/Support through Groups, Prayer gatherings, and Biblical Counseling. Our Family Table gives area pastors the opportunity to meet other pastors, break bread together, and share the needs of their ministries. As we walk together as family, we can minister to Jesus Christ by meeting the needs of others. Matthew 25:35,40b:
I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.
1 Peter 1:22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love for the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart.
